Pumpkin Scones

This recipe is an adaption of one my hubby found online which wasn't very successful. A few tweaks and viola, yummy pumpkin filled goodness even my pumpkin haters love.

Pumpkin Scones

4 cups flour
4 heaped tsps baking powder
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp mixed spice
1/4 tsp nutmeg
100mls oil
2 cups cooked pureed pumpkin

1/ combine dry ingredients in large bowl, stir through oil, Add pumpkin and mix well.
2/ on a lightly floured surface knead dough briefly.
3/ cut into 12 scones
4/ bake 210 for 10-15 mins until done.
